Forty populations of Paeonia L.sect.Moutan DC. (All wild species) of Paeoniaceae Peony were systematically analyzed based on morphological evidence in order to establish phylogenetic relationships among the species. The distance tree (UPGMA, NJ) and maximum parsimony tree (MP) of all the research groups based on 25 morphological traits were constructed using the PAUP computer program. The topological structure of the resulting trees is basically the same, the difference only occurs between the distance tree and the simple tree, in the five species (Peony P.suffruticosa, P. peony P. Jishanensis, . Qiui, purple peony P. Rockii and Feng Dan P. ostii) constitute the interior of the branch. In distance trees (UPGMA and NJ), all populations of each species first form a single-family cluster before they meet with other species. Monocots of three species of Pseudomonas syringae plulu, Pseudolarix yunnanensis and P.decomposita were more than 90% self-propagating, and the monophyletic groups of P.delavayi2 were more than 70% of the self-propagating support, and 3 monophyletic groups of Peony, Fengdan and Dwarf Peony receive 5% -70% self-scaling support. In the Minimalist Tree (MP), the self-deploying support values of all the above species are less than the corresponding values in the distance tree. At the same time, the entire population of Peony, Dian Peony and Fengdan failed to form a monophyletic group. According to the results of this article, we analyzed and discussed the phylogenetic relationship of wild peony for the first time
