Objective To study and explore the relationship between plasma adiponectin and acylation protein and childhood obesity. Methods From October 2013 to October 2014, 50 obese children were treated in the outpatient department of Shijiazhuang First Hospital as observation group and 50 normal children as control group. Plasma concentrations of adiponectin and levels of pro-acylic protein were detected by ELISA. Results Compared with the control group, plasma adiponectin in the observation group was significantly lower (P <0.05), and the level of serum pro-acylation protein was significantly higher (P <0.05). The indexes of blood lipids in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P> 0.05). The concentration of plasma adiponectin was negatively correlated with BMI, and the level of AAC was positively correlated with BMI. Conclusions The more severe childhood obesity is, the lower the level of plasma adiponectin is and the higher the level of acylation-promoting protein is. These two indicators can be used as an important detection of obesity diagnosis and prevention indicators for children with obesity to provide a reference for the prevention.
