生成于“五四新文化运动”中的启蒙思潮在20世纪40年代发生了本质的裂变,“启蒙”与“救亡”成为20世纪40年代相互对峙、纠缠的两种时代话语。本文主要从文学内部的新的“美学原则的崛起”和文学外部的启蒙空间的位移两个向度来捕捉战时文化环境中启蒙思潮的脉象,并与“五四”一代知识分子的启蒙思想和文化形态进行纵向比较,以此来探寻中国启蒙运动的路向。
