In a paper published recently in Nature, it was reported that ancient liquid water was found in a zinc-copper mine at a depth of 2,400 meters underground in Canada. According to an isotopic analysis of natural gas in water, scientists consider it the oldest water body ever studied by mankind, with a history of at least one billion years and a maximum of 2.64 billion years - a little shorter than the history of the rocks around it some.
