Information carriers such as karst stalagmites, marine corals and lake sediments can be dated using TIMS uranium dating techniques. On the basis of a large number of the above information carriers, the authors consider many factors worth considering. In this paper, the factors to be considered in the determination of thermal ionization mass spectrometry are analyzed in many aspects, and the countermeasures are provided for the confirmation or solution of these factors in order to improve the authenticity of sample age data.
