杨质夫(1906—1961)先生本名杨文,字质夫,青海省互助县人。是现代卓有成就的翻译家和民族语言学家。曾先后在青海省蒙藏师范学校、青海藏文研究社、兰州大学边疆语文学系、西宁师范学校等单位任职。协助黎丹编纂《藏汉大辞典》,其编纂的《藏汉小辞典》于1933年石印出版,系国内出版的第一部汉藏双语辞典。发表过《塔尔寺概况》《西藏世族考》《西藏甘丹赤巴列传》等著述,并翻译了不少藏文著作。20世纪50年代初,他还和其他人员共同创制了藏文新生体,研制国内第一套完整的藏文字模,并提出后缀带点法、连串字等方法,填补了国内印刷行业空白。杨质夫先生的《入藏日记》系其作为以黎丹为团长的“西藏巡礼团”团员,于1934年4月自青海西宁起程及至1935年2月间所记的日记残卷,仅存2册。该日记对于青藏道程的探讨,山川描述,里程记载,地区垦殖叙述,颇有参考价值。本刊节选的杨质夫先生1934年8月28日至1935年2月3日间的部分日记,记录的是其在西藏境内的行程和在拉萨学习生活的情况,是反映20世纪30年代西藏社会各方面状态的第一手资料。文中除按新闻出版的规定改动数字、错别字外,其余专有名词一概保留原貌,未作改动。
Yang Weifu (1906-1961), whose real name is Yang Wen, the word quality husband, Huzhu County, Qinghai Province. Is a modern and accomplished translator and national linguist. He worked successively in the Mongolian and Tibetan Normal Schools in Qinghai Province, the Qinghai Tibetan Studies Institute, the Linguistic Department of Lanzhou University, and Xining Normal School. Assisted in the compilation of Li Dan’s “Dictionary of Tibetan and Chinese”, the compilation of “Dictionary of Tibetan and Chinese” published in 1933 Shigin, Department of the first Chinese-Tibetan bilingual dictionary. Published “Tal Temple Overview” “test of Tibetans” Tibet “Ganden Tribe Biography” and other writings, and translated a lot of Tibetan writings. In the early 1950s, he also co-created the newborn of Tibetan with other staffs, developed the first complete set of Tibetan characters in his country, and put forward the method of suffixes and dot-com words and other methods to fill the gaps in the domestic printing industry. Mr. Yang Weifu’s “Diary of Entry into Tibet” is a biographical diarrhea recorded in April 1934 in Xining, Qinghai Province and ending in February 1935, as the member of “Tibet Tour Group” led by Leah. Save 2 volumes. The diary for the Qinghai-Tibet journey, mountain description, mileage records, reclamation of the region, quite a reference value. The journal digesting part of Yang Weifu’s diary dated from August 28, 1934 to February 3, 1935, documents his trip to Tibet and his study of life in Lhasa, which is a reflection of each and every part of Tibetan society in the 1930s Aspects of the state of first-hand information. In addition to press the press in accordance with the provisions of the change of numbers, typos, the remaining proper nouns retain the original appearance, without change.
