At 11:00 a.m. on February 21, 1972, the U.S. presidential plane landed at Beijing Airport. Nixon walked down the ramp, take the initiative to reach out to meet Zhou Enlai. The handshake transatlantic shocked the world and marked the “thawing” of the Sino-U.S. Relations. The world pattern then changed. In order to ensure that this handshake will not stop because of an accident, the details of the guarded guard and reception service behind it are still unknown. When I wrote a memoir for Wu Jicheng, deputy head of the Central Security Guard Corps, I learned that he had been in charge of guarding Diaoyutai since the Cultural Revolution and was one of the heads of Nixon’s visit to China in the past. Collect a lot of relevant information.
