枫坪乡位于松阳县西南部,毛竹资源丰富,全乡共有2.3万亩毛竹山。近年来,乡政府把开发笋竹两用林作为增加农民收入的一项主导产业来抓。为了提高笋竹林的种植效益,2002年,乡政府、县林业局特地邀请浙江林学院教授前来乡里举办高效竹林经营技术培训班,培训者深受启发。当年全乡共有200多户竹农上山开发高效笋竹示范林。经验收面积达到400余亩,亩产值从原先的不到300元,增加到1000多元,使竹农的钱袋子鼓了起来。有的农户亩挖冬笋400余千克,冬笋、春笋合计亩收入达到2000多元。去年,全县林业系统、乡镇分管农林业的干部在枫坪乡召开了高效笋竹示范林推广现场会。枫坪乡有一农户获全县高效笋竹林开发一 Maple Township is located in the southwestern Songyang County, rich in resources of bamboo, the township, a total of 23000 acres of Moso Mountain.
