对机车车辆用橡胶软管进行了最多运行里程达75万km、最长运行时间达6年的现车运行试验。对试件进行了包括外观检查、耐压试验、破裂试验、弯曲试验、剥离试验、拉伸试验在内的各种性能试验，以评价其老化特性和耐久性。试验结果表明，目前使用的天然橡胶软管的运行里程耐久性可达75万km，但其运行时间限度则不宜超过4年。在此基础上，制定了机车车辆用橡胶软管的老化评价指标值（草案），对10个评价指标提出了具体的数值基准，从而为橡胶软管的老化评价提供了科学依据。
The rubber hose for rolling stock vehicles up to 750,000 km mileage, the longest running time up to 6 years of running the car running test. The specimens were subjected to various performance tests including appearance inspection, pressure resistance test, rupture test, bending test, peel test, and tensile test to evaluate their aging characteristics and durability.
