Objective: To study the abnormal craniofacial morphology in patients with OSAS and to explore the structural risk factors of OSAS. METHODS: Cephalic cephalometric airway cephalometry was compared between 31 male OSAS patients and 16 non-conscious male controls. Results: Compared with the control group, patients with OSAS had large ANB angle, large kyphosis angle, and had the trend of Class II Angle. Showing the location of the hyoid bone in front, the tongue grows, reduce the height of bony nasopharynx, soft palate after the narrow gap. CONCLUSIONS: The craniofacial morphology of OSAS patients tends to Class II osteofacies. The airway stenosis is located in the nasopharynx and the velopharyngeal cavity, indicating that structural pathogenic factors can not be ignored.
