MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of non-protein-coding small RNAs that are highly conserved in many organisms and regulate gene expression at post-transcriptional level. MiRNAs in mammalian cardiomyocyte proliferation and proliferation, angiotensin Ⅱ type 1 receptor expression, insulin secretion and other physiological processes is of great significance. Many scholars speculate that miRNAs are closely related to cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes and metabolic syndrome, and may be potential targets for the treatment of these diseases.
