In the construction of oil and gas pipelines, ray inspection technology is the key means to ensure the welding quality, which is directly related to the project quality, construction efficiency and cost as well as the safety and reliability during pipeline operation. The new digital pipeline weld inspection information system is based on flat panel detector X-ray digital detection technology, combined with automatic control principle to complete the rapid detection of pipe welds, test images can be immediately displayed on-site view. Compared with the traditional photographic film detection, the system has the characteristics of high sensitivity, high resolution and large dynamic range. The detection cost is about 30% of the film photographic detection system.
