A new photoacoustic tomography technique called photoacoustic Fourier transform confocal scanning imaging technique is reported, and a tomographic image of strongly scattering matter (biological tissue) is obtained by this technique. The longitudinal resolution is less than 0 1mm , Horizontal resolution is less than 4mm
