提出了一种大有效模面积的折射率渐变型分布模式信道的新型6模式复用器,采用光束传播法和全矢量有限元方法研究了模分复用器的性能指标。结果表明,本文复用器实现了折射率渐变型分布、大有效模场面积、低非线性系数、高耦合效率和宽工作波段6模式复用解复用操作;在1 450~1 650nm工作波段,模分复用器耦合效率优于-0.449dB,模式LP_(01)、LP_(11a)、LP_(11b)、LP_(21a)和LP_(21b)耦合效率分别优于0、-0.018、-0.018、-0.449和-0.036dB,呈现出平坦特性;在C波段内,模分复用器耦合效率呈现出更好的平坦特性,所有模式对应的平坦度均优于0.066dB;在1 550nm,所有模式的有效面积均大于标准单模光纤(SMF)的14.9倍,非线性系数均远小于标准SMF。
A new type of 6 - mode multiplexer with large effective mode area index - graded distributed mode channel is proposed. The performance of the MUX is studied by using the beam propagation method and full vector finite element method. The results show that the multiplexer in this paper achieves a multi-mode demultiplexing operation with graded index distribution, large effective mode field area, low nonlinearity coefficient, high coupling efficiency and wide working band. In the operating band from 1 450 to 1 650 nm , The coupling efficiency of DMX is better than -0.449dB, the coupling efficiencies of LP_ (01), LP_ (11a), LP_ (11b), LP_ (21a) and LP_ (21b) are better than 0, -0.018, 0.018, -0.449 and -0.036dB, showing a flat nature; in the C band, the Mux coupling efficiency showed a better flatness characteristics, flatness corresponding to all modes are better than 0.066dB; at 1 550nm, The effective area of all modes is greater than 14.9 times that of standard single-mode fiber (SMF), and the nonlinear coefficients are much smaller than the standard SMF.
