翼型是各种螺桨设计的基础。为了进一步提高水下动力螺桨的抗空化特性,降低噪声,西北工业大学翼型研究中心研制了一组PQ翼型。该翼型通过理论计算优化并经一系列的风洞、水洞试验研究,结果表明,NPUPQ系列翼型在满足初生空化数设计指标的情况下比NACA66(Mod)系列翼型有更大的空化斗,显示了更好的空化特性;前者的流体动力特性与后者相当或更好。
Airfoil is the basis for a variety of propeller designs. In order to further enhance the anti-cavitation characteristics of underwater power propeller and reduce noise, a group of PQ airfoil has been developed by Northwestern Polytechnic University Airfoil Research Center. The airfoil was optimized theoretically and tested by a series of wind tunnels and water tunnels. The results show that the NPUPQ airfoils are larger than NACA66 (Mod) airfoils to meet the design requirements of primary cavitation numbers Cavitation bucket, showing better cavitation characteristics; the former hydrodynamic characteristics and the latter is equivalent to or better.
