荣独山教授为我国著名医学家、教育家、放射学家 ,在国内外享有盛誉。荣独山教授 190 1年出生于无锡太湖之滨。荣氏为工商业望族 ,而他立志求医 ,192 0～ 192 9年就读于国内著名的高等学府———协和医学院 ,以优异成绩毕业 ,同时获得美国纽约州立大学授予的医学博士学位。192
Professor Rong Dushan is a famous medical scientist, educator and radiologist in our country and enjoys a good reputation both at home and abroad. Rong Dushan 1901 was born in Wuxi Taihu Lake. Rong was a businessman from the business community, and he determined to seek medical advice. From 1902 to 1919 he enrolled in the famous Chinese higher medical institution, Union Medical College, graduating with honors and receiving his MD degree from New York State University. 192
