According to the analysis results of sediment monitoring results in spring, summer and autumn in the three seasons in the sea near the Lvhua De-loading Platform in 2012, it shows that: (1) Hg, As, Cu, (Pb), cadmium (Cd) and chromium (Cr) all met the first standard value of “marine sediment quality”; the content of Fe increased significantly compared with that of 2006. (2) Both the index of land accumulation and the index of potential ecological risk index showed that all the heavy metals Hg, As, Pb and Cr were not polluted, Cu was slightly polluted and Cd was moderately polluted. The evaluation of two methods The consistency of results is good. (3) The results of potential ecological risk index evaluation showed that the heavy metals Hg, As, Cu, Pb and Cr are low potential ecological risk, while Cd is a higher potential ecological risk. The integrated potential ecological risk of six heavy metals in the sediments of the sea area is moderate. (4) The influence of different background reference values on the evaluation results is discussed, which shows that using appropriate background reference values is of great significance to the evaluation of heavy metals in sediments.
