This is a poem written by Zheng Ling in 1997. Zheng Ling is already 69 years old this year, suffering from gallstones, cerebrovascular and other diseases. At the age of 16, she left her hometown of Sichuan for participation in the Shonan Detachment (guerrillas) of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army
