16年前,北京郊区的花朵就在津门的港口里集结,带着清晨的露水漂洋过海抵达日本的大阪港,开始了在异域盛放的旅程。2008年前后,每年有400多万支鲜切菊花就出现在日本大大小小的花卉市场,从佛堂前的花坛到葬礼上的花圈,各种庄严肃穆的场景里出现的菊花都有可能是从北京漂洋过海而来的花朵。一直以来,北京鲜花出口创汇几乎全靠菊花,另外还有小规模的干花
16 years ago, the flowers on the outskirts of Beijing gathered in the port of Jinmen, arrived in Japan’s Osaka Port with morning dew and crossed the sea, and embarked on a journey in a different area. Around 2008, more than 4 million fresh cut chrysanthemums appear every year in flower markets in Japan, large and small, from the flower beds in front of the temple to the wreaths at the funeral. All the chrysanthemums that appear in solemn scenes are likely to be caused by Beijing floating across the sea from flowers. All along, Beijing’s export of flowers rely almost entirely on chrysanthemums, in addition to small-scale dried flowers
