The transition state and reaction route of intramolecular cycloaddition of N-4-pentenyl nitrone were determined by MINDO / 3 method.The two enantiomerically added isomers were synthesized from N-4-pentenylnitrone Of the two different conformations obtained through their respective transition states.The theoretical analysis satisfactorily explained the experimental results.
