日本法西斯主义是第一次世界大战后特定历史时期的产物。“不管法西斯主义戴着什么假面具，采取什么方式，用什么方法上台执政，法西斯主义就是资产阶级对劳动群众的极端残酷的进攻。法西斯主义就是蛮不讲理的沙文主义和侵略战争。”这是日、德、意法西斯的共同点。但由于历史条件、社会经济状况及文化传统不同，这三个国家在法西斯化过程中又有各自的特点。
