大型体育场馆在大型体育赛事和企业的体育营销之间起到一个桥梁作用。武汉体育中心自2008年成立以来,先后承接、主办了20余个项目的近百场体育赛事,经营收入由2008年的800万元跃升到2011年的5500万元。2011年“第26届亚洲男子篮球锦标赛”的成功运作,开创了国内企业推进大型赛事市场化运作的先河,2012年5月激情上演的2012年东风雪铁龙·汤姆斯杯暨尤伯杯赛也为湖北体育竞技市场运营与开发增添奇葩。
Large stadiums play a bridge between large sports events and corporate sports marketing. Since its establishment in 2008, Wuhan Sports Center has undertaken and sponsored nearly 100 sports events in more than 20 projects. Its operating income jumped from 8 million in 2008 to 55 million in 2011. The successful operation of the “26th Asian Men’s Basketball Championship” in 2011 has created the precedent for domestic enterprises to promote the market-oriented operation of large-scale sports.
