通过对中外大学图书馆学习共享空间的比较分析,指出共享空间的功能要做到学习和资源共享,交流和安静并重,并从局部空间的再造,延伸影响大学图书馆的建筑设计理念,最终达到整体的功能强化,更好发挥空间性。图书馆员和建筑师在学习共享空间的发展过程中,从软空间和硬空间两方面起着不同的作用,最终是吸引人到达空间,实现大学图书馆的教育使命。学生对图书馆的需求除了安全、舒适和安静,还需要与他人交流。大学图书馆的设计应求图书馆的作用发挥到最大。图书馆建筑是图书馆学、建筑学和美学的完美统一。实践证明,高质量的图书馆建筑需要馆方花费很多精力作深入研究,并与建筑师进行有效沟通,密切合作,在设计过程中既要适应数字化、信息化、网络化的发展,同时还要将功能性、绿色环保、人文关怀等诸多因素考虑其中,使图书馆成为人们理想的学习地。可变、可换、可扩展,环境优美、艺术、安静等现代图书馆建筑时代性和实用性的设计值得借鉴和学习。
