The results show that the Changbaishan birch tree line has significant sensitivity to climatic factors. Unlike other studies, the main climatic factors affecting the growth of birch birch at the tree line are not the summer temperatures but the lowest ones in the previous year Temperature and the temperature in March of that year. Despite the large amount of precipitation in the study area, the width of the ring is significantly related to the precipitation in the previous winter and the current spring.
