One of the best things about a new year is that you always have something new to look forward to: new clothes, new shoes, new targets, as well as new anime. It is confirmed that some really promising series will be among the winter list, so my faith is actually blooming—despite this terribly cold weather. What about you?

Starry Sky 星座彼氏
Starry Sky for real—finally! This animated adaptation of the well-received otome game注1 series takes place at Seigatsu Academy, a former all-boy school specializing in astronomy[天文学]. Tsukiko Yahisa
is the first female student to enroll[入学] here. Not long after she transfers to the academy, a half-French boy named Yoh Tomoe follows suit[仿效] to pursue her, which stirs up[激起] emotions from Tsukiko’s childhood
friends, Kanata Nanami and Suzuya Tohzuki, both of whom had long loved her. Meanwhile, Tsukiko gradually befriends other young men whose
personalities are also based on the zodiac[十二宫]…
Compared to its cast, the story of an otome game is nothing. Starry Sky is no exception. The 12 young men are voiced by some of the most popular voice actors in Japan today, including Akira Ishida, Kouji Yusa, Jun Fukuyama, Daisuke Ono and so on. Besides, since the anime has been rescheduled for December 2010—instead of rumors of October—it’s the first series to open the winter season.
货真价实的《星座彼氏》终于来了！这部动画改编自当红乙女向游戏系列，故事发生在星月学园——这间天文专业学校过去是一所男校。夜久月子是第一个入读该校的女学生。她转学后不久，法国混血儿土萌羊为了追求她也跟着转学，这让她的童年好友——七海哉太和东月锡也大为紧张，因为他俩一直很喜欢月子。与此同时，月子渐渐与其他年轻人交上朋友，他们的个性同样来源于十二星座……
