对离体前列腺癌和前列腺增生来源的上皮细胞及成纤维细胞进行多种生长因子作用下的综合细胞增殖实验。结果发现转化生长因子β可明显抑制前列腺癌及前列腺增生来源的上皮细胞及成纤维细胞的增殖,加用表皮生长因子和双氢睾酮后并不能改变转化生长因子β对上皮细胞的抑制作用,然而表皮生长因子和双氢睾酮则可克服转化生长因子β对前列腺成纤维细胞的抑制作用。本研究提示多种生长因子及激素对前列腺细胞作用的失平衡可能与前列腺癌及前列腺增生有关。
Proliferation of prostate cancer and prostatic hyperplasia derived epithelial cells and fibroblasts under the action of a variety of growth factors in a comprehensive cell proliferation experiments. The results showed that transforming growth factor β could significantly inhibit the proliferation of epithelial cells and fibroblasts derived from prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia. The addition of epidermal growth factor and dihydrotestosterone did not change the inhibitory effect of transforming growth factor β on epithelial cells. However, Epidermal growth factor and dihydrotestosterone can overcome the inhibitory effect of transforming growth factor β on prostate fibroblasts. This study suggests that a variety of growth factors and hormone imbalance in the role of prostate cells may be related to prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia.
