The rats of the ovariectomized rats were given Danggui Shaoyao San, which is effective for climacteric syndrome, and the changes in the amount of activity of the rats within one day were measured to obtain meaningful results. Materials and Methods: 1 Animals and feeding conditions: 8-week-old female Wistar rats were placed in a metal mesh cage at room temperature of (23±1)°C, humidity (55±5)%, and free intake of solid feed and drinking water. After 1 week of prefeeding, body weights were measured and normal growth was selected for the experiment.
