New applications for electronic countermeasures equipment are required to cover a wide range of instantaneous frequencies in order to provide the flexibility to cope with the ever-changing deterrent environment. A highly effective way to achieve this capability is through the use of RF amplification chains with multi-octave frequency coverage. This capability can be provided here as a design method for harmonic regulation.
