各位领导、各位代表、同志们: 1994年9月上旬,在河北省秦皇岛市召开了首次全国沿海城市地名管理研讨和经验交流会。在那次会议上我们不仅成功地进行了学术和工作交流,还自发地形成了“例会制度”,成立了全国沿海城市地名管理联席会。会议70余名代表共同协商通过了《联席会协定书》。我在这里再次重申一下其中的主要原则内容:本联席会是沿海县级以上城市地名机构 Dear leaders, deputies, and comrades: In early September 1994, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province held its first seminar and experience exchange meeting on the management of geographical names in the coastal cities of China.
