姬松茸别名小松菇。因原产于巴西,故也称之为巴西蘑菇。是联合国粮农组织向全世界公开推荐发展的主要菌类品种之一。姬松茸营养丰富、味道鲜美、肉质脆嫩爽田、具有杏仁香味。含有多种抗肿瘤活性物质,用于治疗癌症、糖尿病、神经痛、肝病和降低高血脂,改善动脉硬化等症功效显著,药用价值很高。目前日本、东欧等发达国家已兴起食用姬松茸热潮。据《中国食用菌》杂志提供的信息,目前姬松茸干品价格每公斤达到260元人民币。另据报道,在日本的东京、名古屋等城市,每公斤鲜菇价值2000~3000日元,故日本客商到处高价收购,发展前景极为可观。根据姬松茸的种性特征和适温范围,栽培季节在春、秋两季均可,尤以秋季最为理想。
