Objective To investigate the clinical effect of micro incision phacoemulsification combined with ultra-thin intraocular lens implantation. Methods Four cases (4 eyes) of senile nucleus cataract patients underwent 1.6mm corneal incision bimanual phacoemulsification cataract extraction, implantation of ThinOptxrollableUltraChoice1.0 thin intraocular lens. Eight weeks before operation and after operation, subjective examination was performed with visual function questionnaire -25 (VFQ-25) of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. The patients underwent visual acuity examination with naked eye, best corrected visual acuity, contrast sensitivity, objective wavefront aberration, corneal topography, Endothelial cell count, objective examination of hexagonal cell counts. Results VFQ-25 average 2081.25 points after surgery, significantly higher than the preoperative mean 903.75 points. All patients appear after the color of the halo of light to the point of view of light, close, night for. Postoperative uncorrected visual acuity, best corrected visual acuity, contrast sensitivity significantly increased compared with preoperative; corneal curvature, corneal endothelial cells, hexagonal cells, higher mean square root mean square error and mean spherical aberration were less than preoperative . Conclusion 1.6mm micro-incision phacoemulsification cataract extraction combined with ultra-thin IOL implantation can significantly improve the patient’s visual function, tissue damage, surgical astigmatism small, despite the existence of colored halo, is still a huge improvement in cataract surgery, Worth further research and application.
