长江,是我们民族的母亲河,也是正在变动中的当代中国的缩影。古老与现代、历史与现实、“亘古不变”与“万象更新”之间形成的巨大张力,一直吸引着电视人的目光。1983年8月,25集大型系列纪录片《话说长江》的播出,掀起了一场持久的“长江热”,以40%的收视率创造了中国电视的收视奇迹,成为中国电视史上的一座里程碑。2006年7月,由中央电视台海外中心专题部承制、制作周期长达两年的33集大型电视纪录片《再说长江》在央视一套隆重播出,再次引起了广大观众、业界与学界的关注。该片以饱满的激情,立体、多维、全景式地展现了长江波澜壮阔、多姿多彩的壮丽景象和人文景观,以强烈震撼的视听冲击力凸显出魅力长江的新形象,充分挖掘了长江这一中华民族精神符号所蕴含的自然、人文、社会、历史价值,成为近年来中国电视荧屏上不可多得的一部精品力作。本期“个案研究”邀请了《再说长江》的几位主创者和专家,就《再说长江》的由来、创作历程、历史文化意义及电视艺术与传播价值作了深入的探讨。

This case study invited several key creators and experts who “talked about the Yangtze River” to make a deep discussion on the origin, process of creation, historical and cultural significance of the “re-talking the Yangtze River” and the value of television art and communication.
