Objective To investigate the role of serum adropin in the serum of patients with coronary heart disease complicated with diabetes mellitus. Methods From January 2010 to July 2014, 260 patients underwent coronary angiography. According to angiography and whether type 2 diabetes mellitus were divided into coronary heart disease with type 2 diabetes mellitus (164 cases) and coronary heart disease group (96 cases). Risk factors for coronary heart disease were determined by logistic regression analysis. Results The concentration of adropin in CHD patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus was significantly lower than that in CHD patients, but the ratio of hsCRP, fasting plasma glucose, fasting plasma insulin, IRI and male was significantly higher In the coronary heart disease group, multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that low serum adropin level was an independent risk factor for coronary heart disease, the correlation analysis showed a negative correlation. Conclusion The level of adropin is low in the serum of patients with coronary heart disease complicated with diabetes, suggesting that adropin may have a protective effect on coronary heart disease by improving insulin resistance.
