Objective To investigate the predictive effect of peripheral blood hemoglobin, platelet count, plasma fibrinogen and D-dimer on postpartum hemorrhage in third trimester of pregnancy. Methods 34 cases of maternal postpartum hemorrhage were selected as the observation group and 35 cases of normal maternal as the control group. The bleeding of the two groups were observed and compared. Results The levels of fibrinogen, D-dimer, platelet count and hemoglobin in the two groups were observed. There was no significant difference between the two groups (P> 0.05). To observe the predictive value of fibrinogen, D-dimer, platelet count and hemoglobin level, we found that fibrin and D-dimer had higher predictive value, platelet count and no detectable value of hemoglobin. Conclusion The predicting effect of peripheral blood hemoglobin, platelet count, plasma fibrinogen and D-dimer on postpartum hemorrhage during pregnancy is significant and has certain predictive value.
