B3超家族基因是植物中特有的一类转录因子,参与植物生长发育、形态建成及抗逆境胁迫等过程。从玉米黄早4中获得一个含有2个B3-DNA结合域的基因,为B3超家族基因,命名为ZmREM。该基因全长1 047 bp,编码含有349个氨基酸的蛋白。Blast比对结果表明,ZmREM和谷子含有B3结构域蛋白、高粱的假定蛋白相似性分别为81%和84%。ZmREM基因是组成型表达,在根中表达量最高。同时ZmREM基因的转录水平可以为干旱、盐、冷和热所诱导。因此,ZmREM可能参与玉米多种非生物胁迫应答途径。
B3 superfamily gene is a kind of transcription factor that is unique in plants, which is involved in plant growth and development, morphogenesis and stress tolerance. A gene containing two B3-DNA binding domains was obtained from Zeaxanthin 4, which is a B3 superfamily gene named ZmREM. The gene is 1 047 bp in length and encodes a protein of 349 amino acids. The Blast alignment showed that ZmREM and millet contained B3 domain proteins, and the putative proteins of sorghum were 81% and 84% similar, respectively. The ZmREM gene is constitutively expressed and expressed highest in the root. At the same time, the transcription level of ZmREM gene can be induced by drought, salt, cold and heat. Therefore, ZmREM may participate in many abiotic stress response pathways in maize.
