General Secretary Jiang Zemin solemnly declared in his report to the 16th National Party Congress that on the occasion of farewell to the 20th century, the overall living standard of the Chinese people has reached a well-to-do level, ie, the per capita GNP is US$800. However, it is low-level, incomplete, and unbalanced in development. China’s future economic speed and national income will quadruple and move toward a high standard of building a well-to-do society. The realization of this great goal has a direct bearing on the learning and life of our middle school students and on our future life and happiness. Who does not want to live happily in a material and spiritually prosperous environment? Who does not expect a few years later, when we grow up and step into social and family life, we will live a higher standard of well-being and well-being? ? Then, how does the contemporary middle school students understand “well-to-do life”? What does the well-to-do life of their eyes look like? What kind of wonderful ideas do they have for their future well-to-do life?
