以烯丙基-联苯基醚(ABE)为疏水单体、十二烷基硫酸钠为表面活性剂、偶氮二异丁腈为引发剂,采用乳液自由基聚合法合成了ABE-丙烯酰胺(AM)-丙烯酸(AA)三元共聚物,并以浓硫酸和发烟硫酸为磺化剂对ABE-AM-AA三元共聚物进行磺化改性得到了新型磺化共聚物。采用FTIR和1H NMR方法对磺化共聚物进行了结构表征,并采用TG方法分析了它的热稳定性。表征结果显示,磺化共聚物中含有ABE、AM和磺酸基结构单元;磺酸基的引入对磺化共聚物的热稳定性影响较小。考察了磺化共聚物的溶解性及其溶液性能。实验结果表明,当磺化度为0.56时,磺化共聚物的增黏效果较好;ABE单体的引入使磺化共聚物的溶液具有明显的临界缔合特征和良好的耐温抗盐性能。
ABE was used as hydrophobic monomer, sodium dodecyl sulfate as surfactant and azobisisobutyronitrile as initiator to synthesize ABE-acrylamide by emulsion polymerization (AM) -acrylic acid (AA) terpolymer was synthesized and the sulfonated modified ABE-AM-AA terpolymer with concentrated sulfuric acid and oleum as the sulfonating agent. The sulfonated copolymers were characterized by FTIR and 1H NMR methods and their thermal stability was analyzed by TG method. Characterization results show that sulfonated copolymer contains ABE, AM and sulfonic acid structural units; the introduction of sulfonic acid groups has little effect on the thermal stability of sulfonated copolymers. The sulfonated copolymers were investigated for their solubility and solution properties. The experimental results show that the sulfonated copolymer has better tackifying effect when the degree of sulfonation is 0.56. The introduction of ABE monomer makes the solution of sulfonated copolymer have obvious critical association characteristics and good temperature and salt resistance .
