13 Million Copies of Xi’s Second Book on Governance Issued

  Over 13 million copies of the Chinese and English editions of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China (II) have been issued globally, said Lu Cairong, vice president of China International Publishing Group (CIPG), at the opening ceremony of the Chinese Book Center in Cuba on Feb. 2.
  The book depicts the practices of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee with Xi at the core in uniting and leading the Chinese people to uphold and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics in a new era, reflects the development and main contents of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and also encompasses the Chinese wisdom and solution for developing a community with a shared future for mankind and promoting peace and development of mankind.
  Edited by China's State Council Information Office, the Party Literature Research Center of the CPC Central Committee and CIPG, the book was published by the Foreign Languages Press in November 2017, and has received wide attention from the international community.
