著名华裔剧作家黄哲伦在他的代表作《蝴蝶君》中对长期以来制约西方社会思维的东方主义进行了颠覆,但是这种颠覆是不完全的。本文通过运用赛义德对于东方主义的批判理论,对颠覆的不完全性及其原因进行了探讨。
Renowned Chinese playwright Huang Zhe Lun in his masterpiece “Butterfly King” has long been a subversion of Orientalism that restricts western social thinking, but this subversion is incomplete. By using the critical theory of Orientalism by Sayyid, this article explores the imperfection of subversion and its causes.
