Tibetan taboos, formed during the long history of development, originated in social life and inherited from the legacy of their ancestors. Influenced by religious and political systems, the Tibetan people have partly absorbed the folk influence of the neighboring countries and ethnic groups. Once it is formed or accepted by the people, it becomes the code of conduct that the Tibetan people must follow generally in social life and use to judge or evaluate the good and evil, civilized and brutal. It not only reflects the common requirements of Tibetan society and class for people’s behavior, but also has the common legal attribute. Therefore, to understand and study Tibetan nationality, it is necessary to understand the customs’ taboo of Tibetan people.
