优化生产空间布局,促进区域协调发展,是中国培育发展新动能的重要途径,其中首要问题是厘清经济活动空间分布格局形成的微观机制及其决定因素。基于新新经济地理分析框架,利用来自中国制造业数据的实证分析,考察企业异质性如何内生影响企业区位选择。研究发现,效率不同的企业,其选址策略截然不同。高效率企业倾向于在市场潜能更大的中心区选址,低效率企业倾向于在市场潜能较小的外围地区选址。要素市场扭曲造成了较为明显的效率损失。
Optimizing the layout of production space and promoting regional coordinated development are important ways for China to cultivate new development momentum. The primary issue is to clarify the micro-mechanism and its determinants in the formation of the spatial distribution pattern of economic activities. Based on the new economic geography analysis framework, using empirical analysis from Chinese manufacturing data, we examine how firm heterogeneity influences corporate location choice. The study found that companies with different efficiencies have very different site selection strategies. High-efficiency firms tend to choose sites in central regions where market potential is greater, and inefficient firms tend to locate in peripheral regions with smaller market potential. Distortion of the factor market has caused a relatively significant loss of efficiency.
