优化设计可以较好地解决工程耐久性和节约投资的矛盾。桁架拱结构轻巧、整体性强、应用面广，故作为优化研究的对象。桁架拱优化程序的最大特点是矢跨比、拱轴系数、中承式水平杆相对高程等几何变量优化和截面优化的结合。程序的编制成功，填补了输水建筑物领域内几何优化研究的空白。计算表明，运用优化程序，可节约投资１８～３６％。
Optimized design can better solve the contradiction between project durability and saving investment. Truss arch structure lightweight, strong integrity, wide range of applications, it is optimized as the object of study. The most prominent feature of the truss arch optimization program is the combination of geometric variables optimization and cross-section optimization such as the aspect ratio, the arch axis coefficient, the relative elevation of the horizontal support rod. The successful preparation of the program has filled in the blank of geometric optimization research in the field of water conveyance structures. Calculations show that the use of optimization procedures can save 18 ~ 36% of investment.
