视频会议系统在互联网上得到了广泛的、成功的应用,标清、高清视频会议也是研究的新热点。然而,AccessGrid、数字视频传输系统(digital video transport system,DVTS)、VideoLAN客户端(VideoLAN Client,VLC)和Ultra Grid等各种视频会议系统大都面临着可扩展性的问题。带宽成为限制系统容量的主要因素。该文提出了一种通用的可扩展分布式标清视频会议系统的结构以及转发模型设计,通过采用多台数据转发服务器进行协作转发,同时在控制平面和数据平面进行了结构、系统组件行为及转发模型设计,并对负载进行合理分配和均衡。在DVTS的基础上,实现了上述的系统结构及转发模型设计,在中国教育科研网(CERNET)上实现了基于DV的多点对多点标清视频会议系统DVTS Plus,并进行了现网实验验证。实验结果证明:分布式的DVTS Plus视频会议系统可以支持更大的系统容量和更方便的部署,并具有良好的可扩展性。
Video conferencing system in the Internet has been a wide range of successful applications, SD, HD video conferencing is also a new hot spot. However, most videoconferencing systems such as AccessGrid, digital video transport system (DVTS), VideoLAN Client (VLC) and Ultra Grid are faced with scalability issues. Bandwidth has become a major factor in limiting system capacity. In this paper, a universal scalable distributed SD video conferencing system architecture and forwarding model design is proposed. By using multiple data forwarding servers for cooperative forwarding, the control plane and data plane are structured and system component behaviors and forwarded Model design, and the load distribution and balanced. Based on the DVTS, the above system structure and forwarding model are designed. DVTS Plus is implemented on the CERNET, and the existing network experiment is verified . The experimental results show that the distributed DVTS Plus video conferencing system can support larger system capacity and more convenient deployment, and has good scalability.
