A new study shows that breast cancer density and tumor growth more rapidly in women in their forties increase the likelihood of breast cancer after a mammographic negative. Professor Emily White from Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle reported that the study found that breast density was one of the causes of poor mammography sensitivity in young women compared to older women; however, it can not be deduced that breast density Women should receive more frequent screening. White and colleagues studied 73 women aged 40 to 49 years and 503 women over 50 years of age who had been diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer from 1988 to 1993. Young women were diagnosed with cancer within 12-24 months after the mammogram was negative or benign lesions were 27.7% and 52.1%, respectively; young women were 13.95% and 24.7% respectively. Tumor
