Objective To study the effect of heart rate on central aortic pressure and pulse wave pressure (AUG). Methods A total of 294 patients undergoing coronary angiography were enrolled in this study. Central venous pressure, epistaxis and real-time heart rate were measured and divided into three groups according to heart rate (HR): HR≤60 beats / min group, 60 HR≤80 Times / min group, HR> 80 times / min group, compared between groups. Results Of the 294 patients, 207 cases were able to measure the surge of pulsatile wave, accounting for 70.4% of the selected subjects. With the increase of heart rate, central arterial pulse pressure and counterpulsation wave pressure showed a downward trend. HR ≤ 60 beats / min group of central arterial pressure and 60
80 beats / min group were P <0.05; HR ≤ 60 beats / min group AUG and 60
80 times / min group were P <0.05. CONCLUSIONS: Studies of central arterial pressure and counterpulsation waves should consider the impact of heart rate.
