作为出版物受体的读者理应是编辑研究的对象。编辑应当了解读者的需求、欲望、意见、态度和倾向,研究读者阅读心理,才能不断改进编辑工作,为读者提供好的精神产品。当今学术刊物读者的基本需求呈多元化价值取向:1.求知心理.读者不仅选择与自己从事的专业相近或相关的知识,也愿意涉猎自己感兴趣的不同专业的知识,以拓宽知识面。2.求新心理.读者对学术刊物持有一种“喜新厌旧”的心理,渴望得到最新信息,要求文章立意新,角度新,研究方法新。读者最烦的是“炒冷饭”,最不爱看的是空洞无物的
Readers who are recipients of publications should be the subject of editorial research. Editors should understand the reader’s needs, desires, opinions, attitudes and tendencies, to study the reader’s reading psychology, in order to continuously improve the editing work, to provide readers with a good mental product. In today’s academic journals, readers’ basic needs are diversified. Value orientation: 1. Psychology of seeking knowledge. The reader not only chooses knowledge which is similar or relevant to the profession he or she is engaged in, but also is willing to explore the knowledge of different professions of interest to broaden their knowledge. 2. Seeking New Psychology The readers hold a kind of “hi new anorexia” mentality in academic journals and are eager to get the latest information, requiring the articles to be new in meaning, new in perspective and new in research methods. Readers are most annoying is “fried rice”, most do not like to see is empty nothing
