On September 21, 2000, the ammonia project of Guangdong Zhanjiang Mic Chemical Energy Co., Ltd., which invested 2.5 billion yuan, held a grand opening ceremony. The project includes two large-scale double-walled vaults with a low temperature of 3,300,000m2 and 2,200m3, room temperature spherical tanks. The volume of liquid ammonia processing is expected to be 600,000 t/a. Zhanjiang Mi Kehua Energy Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Russia’s Ta’s Fertilizer Group.
