The tenth plenary session of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 104 Technical Committee (TC104) was held in Genoa in June 1978. The meeting focused on discussing and identifying the following recommendations for amending ISO668: 1. Proposal for inclusion of a 35-foot container in Series I. The first sub-committee (SC_1) to study the proposal that can not be recommended, TC104 has not been adopted. However, as soon as the United States asked for a technical report on a 35-foot container, the TC104 decided to ask the ISO Council whether to allow the drafting of such a report and to consider the report available only as an intelligence rather than as a standard Used. 2. Proposals to increase the nominal weight (25 tons) of containers of 9.12 meters (30 feet) in type 1B, 1BB and 1BX and the rated weight (20 tons) of containers of 1C, 1CC and 1CX at 6.06 meters (20 feet). The proposal was also rejected by the meeting. 3. Proposal to increase the rated weight of 6.06 m (20 ft) 1C and 1 CC tank containers from 20 to 24 tonnes. TC104 does not think it is necessary to change the rated weight of these containers individually. 4.
