French SNCF state railways signed a contract with Alstom to procure 34 Coradia Liner dual-power EMUs with a contract value of 346 million euros. Starting in December 2015, these EMUs will replace locomotive-towed trains on certain international lines of the SNCF Corporation. The Coradia Liner EMUs range between the TER intercity express and the TGV high speed trains. The 6-train EMU leader is 100 m and can carry 267 passengers. From the platform on the train.
