目的观察中链脂肪酸辛酸和癸酸对kkay糖尿病小鼠糖代谢的影响。方法选择4-5周龄雄性kkay小鼠36只,随机分为高脂饲料添加辛酸组(C8),高脂饲料添加中癸酸组(C10)及高脂饲料添加油酸组(0A),每组12只,喂饲12周。观察各组小鼠体重、饲料消耗量、食物功效比、血糖的差异。结果喂养12周后,与油酸组相比,辛酸和癸酸组kkay小鼠体重、体重增加值以及体脂肪量均低于油酸对照组。相对于油酸组,12周后癸酸组空腹血明显降低(P<0.05);在葡萄糖耐量试验中,与油酸组比较,癸酸组在给予葡萄糖后0.5h血糖明显降低(P<0.05);给予葡萄糖1h和2h后癸酸组血糖仍然较低,与油酸组比较差异明显(P<0.05),癸酸组血糖曲线下面积明显低于油酸对照组。结论在能量摄入相同前提下,中链脂肪酸辛酸和癸酸都能降低高脂肪饲料导致的体重增加和体脂肪量,降低糖尿病kkay小鼠空腹血糖,此外癸酸还能改善葡萄糖耐量。
Objective To observe the effects of medium chain fatty acids caprylic and capric acid on glucose metabolism in kkay diabetic mice. Methods Thirty-six male kkay mice aged 4-5 weeks were randomly divided into high fat diet with caprylic acid (C8) group, high fat diet with medium caproic acid group (C10) and high fat diet with oleic acid group (0A) Twelve rats in each group were fed for 12 weeks. The body weight, feed consumption, food efficiency and blood glucose in each group were observed. Results After 12 weeks of feeding, body weight, weight gain and body fat of kkay mice in caprylic and capric acid groups were lower than those in oleic acid group compared with those in oleic acid group. Compared with oleic acid group, fasting blood of decanoic acid group was significantly decreased after 12 weeks (P <0.05); in glucose tolerance test, blood glucose of decanoic acid group was obviously decreased 0.5 h after administration of glucose (P <0.05) compared with oleic acid group; After 1h and 2h, the blood glucose level in capric acid group was still lower than that in oleic acid group (P <0.05). The area under the blood glucose level in capric acid group was significantly lower than that in oleic acid group. Conclusion Under the same energy intake, both caprylic acid and capric acid can reduce body weight gain and body fat mass caused by high-fat diet, and decrease fasting blood glucose in diabetic kkay mice. In addition, decanoic acid can improve glucose tolerance.
